About the Role:

At Four Seasons, the Hotel Front Office Assistant is a vital part of the team. As a Front Office Assistant, you will be managing, arranging, supervising, and leading the overnight Front Desk team while prioritizing guest happiness. You will also recruit, train, assess, supervise, motivate, and mentor Front Desk personnel to ensure compliance with the company's cultural and service standards. Strategic planning for future outlet operations will also be part of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, arrange, supervise, and command the duties of the overnight Front Desk team while focusing on guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, assess, supervise, motivate, and mentor all Front Desk personnel to comply with defined cultural and core standards.
  • Strategic planning for future operations and ensuring the hotel continues to deliver an exceptional experience to guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensure smooth operations of all front office systems and ensure all staff are equipped with the necessary tools to meet guest expectations.
  • Maintain a welcoming environment for guests, with consistent communication between team members.

What You Bring:

  • A college degree, preferably focusing on hotel or restaurant management, is preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a Rooms line or front office environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Adaptability in terms of availability, with the ability to work during different shifts such as mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight, including weekends and holidays.
  • A strong focus on guest service, teamwork, and leadership skills.
