Your Impact

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and pragmatic language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and best practices to improve communication outcomes

QualificationsRequired

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • School certification/licensure as required by Minnesota schools
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Previous school-based experience
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and special education teams
