Your Impact
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and pragmatic language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and best practices to improve communication outcomes
QualificationsRequired
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility to obtain)
- School certification/licensure as required by Minnesota schools
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Preferred
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations and special education teams
