Job Title: Pricing Analyst II

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Pricing Analyst II, where you will be a crucial part of the Encompass Third Party North American Pricing Team. You will support various aspects of pricing including email management, price file review, and project coordination to ensure accurate pricing information for our customers. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and previous experience to effectively manage and execute assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage the pricing inbox, assign emails to appropriate owners, and perform follow-up administrative tasks.
  • Support customers, commercial teams, and internal employees to ensure pricing accuracy and updates.
  • Coordinate price updates between regions, specifically the US and Canada.
  • Contact unresponsive suppliers through email, phone, or website to update pricing information in AS400.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute pricing requests and updates.
  • Utilize pricing tools for part maintenance, product price, and attribute maintenance.
  • Create and maintain customer-specific pricing as required.
  • Develop and maintain macros within Excel and Access.
  • Process data and generate/edit reports using Cognos.
  • Meet quantitative price file upload targets as assigned by your manager.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and lead by example while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Train new hires within the pricing group and support training within the department.
  • Adapt to changes and provide process improvement ideas when applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with pricing and general business operations.
  • Proficient in using mainframe systems such as AS400, AMPS, Cognos, PowerBI, and Smartsheets.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years equivalent work experience in general business, pricing, or finance.
  • Ability to handle and resolve issues via phone or email.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical capacity, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including conflict management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
