Location: Allegheny and Washington County

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painting Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all painting projects within our apartment complexes, ensuring high-quality finishes and efficient completion. As a Painting Supervisor, you will lead a team of painters, coordinate schedules, and manage project timelines to meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of painters, delegating tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with property managers to schedule painting projects, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
  • Evaluate surfaces to be painted and determine appropriate preparation and painting techniques.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of proper equipment and materials.
  • Monitor inventory of painting supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Train and mentor painting team members, providing guidance on techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines, expenses, and materials used.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished work meets company standards and resident satisfaction.
  • Address any issues or concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a painting supervisor or similar role, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brush, roller, and spray application.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to painting and construction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, property managers, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Additional certification or training in painting techniques is a plus.
