Job Description:Inventory Counter
As a Inventory Counter at Aramark, you play a key role in ensuring that products are received, organized, and distributed efficiently and accurately. You'll support the overall warehouse operations including inventory management, order preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Individuals must be no younger than 18 years old
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is the preferred educational background
- It is preferred that applicants have a minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse setting
- The fundamental skills of reading, writing, and arithmetic are indispensable
- Basic computer literacy
- Demonstrates adeptness in expressing ideas through written and spoken forms
- Capability to operate devices with skilled manual agility
- Potential to hoist up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 35 pounds in weight
- Based on the location, individuals might need to possess a valid driver's license, with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check being part of the verification process
Physical Demands:
This position may entail the following tasks:
- Extended time frames of walking and remaining stationary
- Regularly executing movements such as lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling

Job Responsibilities:

- Collect, scrutinize, and identify incoming stock; raise awareness of any inconsistencies between shipments and accompanying invoices
- Implement a system that follows the FIFO principle to organize and store perishable goods according to their entry dates
- Fulfill duties that involve using manual or electric pallet jacks and forklifts with proper training if required
- Organize and distribute inventory to fulfill requests for products, supplies, and tools
- Assist in the relocation, unloading, and transportation of products within the warehouse environment or to specified customer destinations utilizing carts or motorized equipment
- Follow the inventory count schedule for regular checks
- Undertake the task of documenting procedures diligently, which may involve maintaining inventory logs, recording temperature checks, documenting spoilage instances, and inspecting equipment, in either paper or electronic form
- Upkeep and clean warehouse premises, consisting of restrooms, employee break areas, loading bays, and elevated platforms
- Uphold safety policies, follow OSHA standards, review Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, and familiarize yourself with emergency procedures
- Follow guidelines by using the necessary Personal Protective Gear (PPG)
- Ensure the protection of both client and company possessions
- Interact professionally with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors throughout engagements
- Participate in meetings and perform miscellaneous duties as needed
