Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server and Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant and nightlife environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. As a Server, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent guest experiences, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
  • Engage with guests to provide exceptional service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation and service as needed, including bussing tables and supporting the kitchen team.
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is an asset.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Familiarity with fine dining service standards and upscale beverage offerings.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for accurate cash handling.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and food handling regulations.
  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
