Shear Operator - $1000 Hiring Bonus

As a Shear Operator, you'll operate shear equipment to cut metal sheets to precise specifications, ensuring every piece meets quality standards before moving to the next stage of production. You'll also use forklifts and overhead cranes to safely move raw materials throughout the facility, helping keep production running efficiently.

Shifts Available:

Shift 16: 3:00pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

$19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Operate shear machine to cut material according to job card specifications

Monitor cutting process and inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy

Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances

Move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes to support production flow

Unload trucks and transport raw materials to designated areas
