We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join one of our Prime Contracts supporting the Government's Corporate Management Services (CMS) organization. Telework up to one day per week! In this role, you will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain the enterprise applications and platforms that keep the organization operating every day. Working alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, user experience, and enterprise platforms, you'll help modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, integrate commercial technologies, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience.

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking team as a Senior Integration Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying innovative cross-domain and integration solutions supporting a mission-critical system. While the role supports the Pega platform, the primary focus will be on implementing cross-domain solutions to securely move and integrate data between environments, as well as developing and supporting microservices-based architectures and integrations.
Pega is a leading enterprise application platform used by major government agencies and Fortune 500 organizations to build workflow-driven applications, automate complex business processes, and modernize legacy systems. Developers on this team work with a combination of visual application design, software engineering principles, API integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture patterns to rapidly deliver mission-critical solutions.
This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple technologies and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and Government stakeholders to modernize and enhance enterprise capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy cross-domain solutions to securely transfer and integrate data between environments
Develop and maintain microservices and APIs to support scalable system integrations and enterprise workflows
Support and enhance the Pega platform, including integrations, workflows, and service modernization efforts
Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and Government stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions
Assist in configuring, integrating, and modernizing enterprise services to align with evolving mission and business needs
Provide architectural guidance for secure data movement between environments while ensuring compliance with security and governance requirements.
Partner with platform engineering teams to design, configure, and deploy Pega applications into new hosting environments.
Participate in system integration activities, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across multiple environments
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, providing technical support to internal teams and end-users as needed
Contribute to software upgrades, bug fixes, code enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall system functionality and reliability
Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance efforts to ensure reliable and high-quality deliverables
Work within an Agile development environment, proactively contributing to team success, technical innovation, and continuous process improvement
Collaborate closely with developers, systems engineers, and infrastructure teams to support secure and efficient cross-domain data flows and enterprise integrations
Required Qualifications:
An active security clearance with polygraph.
Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
