Diesel Mechanic/Welder

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic / Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment, including dump trucks, dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers. Fabrication and welding experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on dump trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, repair, and replace clutches, brakes, suspension components, and steering systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed for equipment repairs and modifications.
• Complete preventative maintenance services.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Assist with roadside repairs when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Experience with hydraulic systems.
• Ability to perform welding and fabrication work.
• Familiarity with dump trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
• Experience repairing clutches, brakes, suspension, and driveline components.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.
