Certified Medical Assistant

UThrive Health is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in Lakeland. This is an in-person role that blends clinical and front-office responsibilities, requiring strong focus, initiative, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is licensed as a Medical Assistant and thrives in a patient-centered environment. New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming experience
• Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and accuracy
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Perform and monitor Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) sessions (training provided if needed)
• Support providers with clinical tasks and general patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Handle daily front desk operations, including patient intake and forms
• Assist with other medical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant license or certification strongly preferred
• Previous medical office or front desk experience a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized
• Strong communication skills—comfortable interacting with patients and staff
• Dependable, proactive, and not passive in problem-solving
• Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a busy environment
