Job Title: Mig Welder
Salary: $25+ / Hour (BOE)
Location/Region: Webster Groves, MO
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld Black Iron and steel parts using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications.
Use basic hand and power tools to perform drilling, grinding, sanding, and cutting operations.
Fit-up and assemble metal parts according to design specifications.
Inspect and test welded structures and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in aluminum and steel fabrication.
Basic welding and fabrication skills, including mostly MIG welding but also some TIG welding, oxygen and acetylene torch, finish grinding and sanding, drilling and tapping, and band saw.
Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
Good mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, interview, and weld test.
