Overview

Starting Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Work Schedule: M-F 6:30am - 5:00pm

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly, eligible for overtime pay rate)

Health/Vision/Dental/Life insurance after 60 days.

80 hours of PTO per year (40 hours after 30 days + 40 hours after 6 months)

6 observed holidays + 1 floating holiday

401k plan after 1 year (3% match)

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in machining, specifically with the Okuma MULTUS or comparable multi-axis mill-turn machines.
  • Strong proficiency and experience with setting up jobs and changeovers on mill-turn machines (e.g. loading tooling, adjusting offsets, devising fixtures and work-holding pieces)
  • Excellent understanding of blueprint reading, specification interpretation, and GD&T principles
  • Working familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam and/or Fusion 360.
  • Superb familiarity with first article setup and inspections—as well as in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and independence on the floor.
  • Collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills

What You’ll Do

  • Set up jobs and production runs. Ensure mill-turn machine(s) are prepared with the proper tooling, coolant, offsets, and g-code program prior to operation.
  • Operate and monitor CNC mill-turn machine(s) with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet aerospace standards and dimensional tolerances.
  • Deburr and assemble components with precision and consistency.
  • Collaborate with teammates to keep production running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Complete basic preventative maintenance and routine machine checks.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
