We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant Intern to join our team. Duties

• Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Support the analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, using accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Conduct account reconciliations, including general ledger reconciliation and account analysis, to verify accuracy of financial data.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and interpret financial concepts for management review.
• Support the team with bookkeeping tasks such as debits & credits entries, accounts payable processing, and budget analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an undergraduate program in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks.
• Knowledge of tax concepts including tax accounting procedures and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and support various projects.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
