The Senior Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, financial performance, occupancy goals, resident satisfaction, and team management of a multifamily residential community. This role requires a highly organized and experienced professional who can successfully manage property operations in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day property operations and ensure the community is maintained to company standards.
Lead, coach, and develop onsite team members, including leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff.
Monitor property performance, occupancy, leasing activity, resident retention, and financial results.
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and operating expenses.
Ensure rent collections, delinquency management, and revenue optimization.
Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts, and property improvement projects.
Manage resident relations and resolve escalated resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations and policies.
Conduct regular property inspections and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Prepare and present operational and financial reports to leadership.
Support lease-up initiatives, redevelopment projects, capital improvements, and property transitions when applicable.
Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
