CPA Staff Accountant

Supporting financial close and reporting processes, the full-time salaried CPA Staff Accountant will assist with monthly close activities, prepare journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of financial data while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under the direction of senior accounting staff Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for review by senior team members Support variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts as directed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-4 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry Hands-on experience or coursework in account reconciliations and journal entries Basic working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
