Job Description:

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments .

Qualifications:

Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post- Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
• Industry standard solder skills are preferred but not necessary upon hire. Successful candidate will receive internal training if necessary and will be required to pass IPC A610 and JSTD 001 solder and rework certification tests. Current certification to IPC A610 and JSTD 001 is preferred
• General knowledge of Lean or demand flow manufacturing practices would be helpful.
