About the Role Our client, an exquisite luxury boutique hotel celebrated for its personalized service and elegant ambiance, is seeking a highly organized and guest-focused Front Office Manager . Situated in the vibrant downtown area of Salt Lake City, Utah , this role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and exceptional arrival and departure experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. You will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, leading a team of receptionists and concierges, and ensuring that all guest interactions are professional, welcoming, and efficient, upholding the hotel's reputation for luxury and comfort in Salt Lake City . Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily front office operations, including check-in, check-out, guest inquiries, and concierge services. Lead, train, and motivate the front desk team to provide exceptional guest service. Manage guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure the accurate and efficient handling of reservations, room assignments, and billing. Develop and implement front office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor and manage front office labor costs and supplies. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Maintain the appearance and standards of the lobby and front desk area. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to front desk staff. Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience within a luxury hotel or boutique property is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of front office procedures and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in Salt Lake City, Utah . A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
