The position of Wine and Spirits Cashier at Festival Foods is a part-time role based at the West Allis location. Reporting to the Wine and Spirits Department Manager, this role is key to delivering a seamless and informative guest experience in the specialty wine and spirits department. Whether you have experience as a bartender, retail customer service, or simply enjoy assisting customers in discovering new favorite beverages, this job places you at the heart of customer interactions. As a Wine and Spirits Cashier, you will play an important role by guiding guests through the selection of local craft beers, premium wines, specialty spirits, and more while maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.
Your duties will include guiding guests by offering knowledgeable recommendations and assisting with special orders. You will handle transactions at the register efficiently and with a friendly attitude, ensuring guests have a positive checkout experience. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with your team and leadership to maintain department goals, stock shelves, monitor inventory, and ensure accurate pricing. - must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers
- good oral and written communication skills
