This position supports month-end close, balance sheet management, and financial reporting activities while offering significant visibility within our Accounting and Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting support.
• Analyze financial data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance accounting workflows, controls, and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and support business initiatives.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide required documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of senior accounting experience demonstrating ownership of accounting processes.
• Strong expertise in balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in audit support and financial statement preparation.
• Background in improving accounting processes, workflows, or internal controls.
• Previous experience in mentoring, training, or leading others.
