Certified HVAC Technician

Facility: Cedar Haven Healthcare Center

Location: Lebanon, PA

Cedar Haven Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled and reliable Certified HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
  • Monitor and maintain boiler systems, chillers, air handlers, and ventilation systems
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety codes, regulations, and facility policies
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
  • Assist with general maintenance duties throughout the facility as required

Qualifications

  • HVAC certification required (EPA certification preferred)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
