At ExtraHop, we’re on a mission to protect and empower the connected enterprise. We reveal what is happening in the very infrastructure that sustains businesses, lives, and communities, and ensure the integrity of networks, data, systems, and processes. Organizations rely on ExtraHop to provide visibility into the cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and network performance issues that evade their existing security and IT tools. With this insight, organizations can investigate smarter, stop threats faster, and keep operations running.

Our mission is fueled by a profound social and moral responsibility to be the best at what we do, ensuring a secure world where everyone can thrive. If this sounds like a place you’d like to spend the next chapter of your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Summary

At ExtraHop, we're helping security teams navigate one of the biggest shifts the industry has seen in decades: the rise of AI-powered security operations.

As Product Marketing Manager for the Agentic SOC, you'll sit at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, product innovation, and customer reality. You'll work directly with security practitioners, product leaders, and technology partners to understand how AI is changing detection, investigation, and response. You’ll help translate those insights into compelling narratives, launches, content, and go-to-market programs.

This is not a traditional product marketing role. You'll help shape how the market understands an emerging category, influence product strategy through direct customer engagement, and turn real-world security outcomes into stories that resonate with everyone from SOC analysts to CISOs.

If you're energized by AI for cybersecurity, curious about how security teams are using AI in the real world, and can move comfortably between technical discussions and strategic storytelling, we'd love to talk.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the customer

Partner with Product and Sales to programmatically gather and analyze information from customers and field-facing teams to understand AI-related learnings and best practices, and create helpful content and tools to drive more value for customers

Build trusted relationships with security practitioners, SOC leaders, and customers to understand their challenges and bring practitioner perspectives into our product strategy and marketing

Turn customer deployments and partner feedback into approved stories, credible evidence, and industry use cases

Define the category

Develop and continually pressure-test ExtraHop's point of view on the future of AI-powered security operations

Define the narrative for why network context is foundational to the agentic SOC

Help shape an emerging market category by identifying gaps in industry thinking and introducing new perspectives grounded in customer outcomes and practitioner realities

Create content that works in the real world

Equip Sales teams with the narratives, evidence, and technical context needed to earn credibility with sophisticated security buyers

Build and maintain the core asset library for the agentic SOC: slide decks, solution briefs, demos, discovery question guides, webinars, web pages, blogs, and other collateral

Maintain a high bar for customer trust and responsible marketing in a sensitive and fast-moving category

Bring new value to market

Plan and execute product and feature launches end-to-end

Work with ecosystem partners to launch new integrations, drive co-marketing activities, and develop joint collateral to generate market momentum

Required Qualifications

5+ years of product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, analyst relations, technical marketing, or related cybersecurity experience

Fluent in the SOC buying committee: you've marketed to or reported to CISOs, Directors, Architects, or Engineers, and you understand how they each think about risk, budget, and tooling decisions

Familiarity with the SOC tech stack — SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, NDR, TIP, IAM, cloud security, vulnerability management, ITSM — and the high-level trade-offs that come with each

Strong enough technical grounding to have a substantive conversation with a detection engineer

Exceptional storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to create concise, compelling content for diverse audiences (C-suite executives, technical practitioners) and formats (executive roundtables, technical blogs)

Communicate clearly and collaborate well with cross-functional teams

Thrives in fast-paced environments, unphased by ambiguity

Willing to travel 10% (US travel)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Former practitioner-turned-marketer with hands-on threat detection, incident response, or detection engineering experience
