Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities in an outpatient setting
• Maintain compliance with facility documentation requirements and credentialing standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Texas (permanent license required)
• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements
• Commitment to a 40-hour guaranteed workweek, with 32 hours during holiday weeks

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
