Responsibilities
- Perform auto glass repairs and replacements with precision, ensuring proper fitting and sealing of windshields and windows.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely to remove damaged glass and install new auto glass components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle glass systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration when necessary.
- Assist with fitting glass installation, ensuring alignment and secure attachment for optimal safety and appearance.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, including auto estimating documentation for parts and labor.
- Support vehicle maintenance tasks such as minor auto body repairs, detailing, and window tinting as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols related to power tool use, heavy lifting, and automotive repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or hands-on work in automotive glass repair or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in auto body repair, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes.
- Experience working with ADAS systems calibration and understanding of automotive glass installation techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Knowledge of auto estimating procedures, auto body repair standards, and vehicle assembly processes.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
