Collaborating with the manager, the Table Server aids in various responsibilities, including food and meal preparation, monitoring cash receipts, and accurately documenting meal records. They also assist in completing daily reports and ensuring that kitchen safety, sanitation, and food production standards are met.

Job Responsibilities of Table Server:

• Food Preparation: Craft quality dishes and pastries as per the planned menu.
• Develop a summary to cross-check daily transactions and document meal preparations.
• Ensure that all meal components are present by recognizing and verifying each element.
• Proper food storage is important for maintaining its shelf life and quality.
• Assist customers by serving meals according to meal schedules and departmental guidelines.
• Cooking Utensils: Techniques for using and caring for cooking utensils, particularly cutting tools.
• Quick Food Preparation: Ensure timely readiness of an assortment of food items and beverages.
• Add decorative flair to your plates and elevate the dining experience for customers through the use of garnishes.
• Support in the organization and cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
• Following Food Safety Directives: Adhere strictly to the guidelines concerning food safety, including maintaining cleanliness, adhering to safe food handling practices, and employing suitable storage procedures.
• Observe and adhere to the specified uniform guidelines accordingly.
• To ensure precision in preparing the menu, regular communication with the manager is essential for effective Menu Coordination.
• Food Temperature Regulation: Enforce regulations to control and maintain the appropriate temperature of food.
• It is essential to consistently keep your work area clean and well-structured.
• Ensure cleanliness: Maintain a sanitized and germ-free workspace by cleaning and disinfecting steam tables, counters, and appliances.
• General Cleaning: Follow cleanliness guidelines by conducting activities such as sweeping, mopping, and washing utensils.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment in garbage collection areas and kitchen floors.
• Additional Obligations: Perform supplementary tasks as assigned, which may entail aiding in other kitchen departments.

Physical Demands:

• The job entails lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing as key responsibilities.
• Complying with the uniform directives and putting on the mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

Qualifications for Table Server:

• Food Service Certification.
• Education & Skills: Adequate education or training to comprehend, compose, and comply with verbal and written directives.
• Working under pressure requires the competence to swiftly and accurately fulfill responsibilities in demanding circumstances.

Education:

• While not mandatory, a high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
