Qualifications and Experience:

• Holds a Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
• Possesses current SC Teaching License
• LD or Multi-categorical certification required
• Experience working with students across K-12 settings preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for serving mild to moderate disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet students IEP goals
• Collaborate with support staff and general education teachers
• Maintain detailed documentation, including progress reports and data collection
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Adapt curriculum and materials as needed for individualized learning

This full-time, onsite position follows a five-day workweek, totaling 40 hours weekly, and covers the 21/22 school year. Your contributions will be valued as you support an average-sized caseload at a single school locationno virtual placements.
