We are seeking a highly driven and operationally focused Real Estate Brokerage Manager to lead our office. As the Managing Broker, you will be the cornerstone of our agents' success. You will be directly responsible for agent performance, holding the team accountable to company standards, resolving complex transaction issues, and ensuring legal compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels at coaching, recruiting, and maintaining a highly productive, growth-oriented office culture.

  • Conduct monthly one-on-one coaching and goal-setting sessions with each agent to review results, pipelines, and daily activities, making actionable suggestions to drive business.
  • Ensure strict follow-up and execution of all company-provided leads, holding agents accountable to established best practice processes for outreach, nurturing, and conversion.
  • Hold agents accountable for converting company leads at or above company-mandated targets, intervening when conversion rates drop.
  • Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive sales and rental training programs for the office. You will be responsible for training both new, inexperienced agents who need foundational skills, as well as seasoned, experienced agents looking to scale their existing businesses.
  • Invite outside experts and Highline leadership to conduct specialized training sessions.
  • Prospect, interview, and onboard high-potential real estate agents to grow the office's market share.
  • Ensure agent needs and concerns are addressed to create a highly productive work environment.
  • Proactively implement retention strategies alongside the leadership team to retain top talent.
  • Handle customer concerns, complaints, and contract or application issues, elevating issues to leadership only when applicable.
  • Handle internal agent concerns and questions. Step in directly to assist agents with specific, complex transactions when necessary to get deals to the closing table.
  • Manage the office support staff and ensure the office is functioning properly and efficiently on a daily basis.
  • Audit transaction files to ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws (including Fair Housing and MLS rules), minimizing company liability.
  • Lead occasional group office meetings to discuss overarching strategies, specific deals, listings, and market shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Real Estate Broker or Salesperson's License required.
  • Must be actively involved in the New York City real estate market, with significant experience in Manhattan preferred. Brooklyn experience is also highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success generating and closing sales and rental transactions through StreetEasy.
  • Proven track record of high performance on StreetEasy, including lead generation, conversion, and transaction management.
  • StreetEasy Experts certification is a strong plus.
