Position: Funding Support Role

Job Description

We are offering a long‑term contract employment opportunity in the insurance industry for a Funding Support Role. Based in Westborough, Massachusetts, this role will provide essential support services in managing funding requirements for our clients. The individual will be actively involved in coordinating payments, communicating with various departments, and maintaining accurate reports and records.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule payments to providers and other payees effectively.
  • Handle communication regarding funding requirements based on approved expenses with clients.
  • Actively liaise with claims examiners, account managers, and various other departments for efficient workflow.
  • Compile and maintain monthly audit reports, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Reconcile client cash accounts, verifying that all transactions are accounted for.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other related software for data management and reporting.
  • Manage daily mail, ensuring all correspondence is attended to promptly.
  • Perform check deposits and bank deposit tasks, maintaining accurate records.
  • Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments and collections.
  • Ensure adherence to audit protocols, contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Excel formulas is required.
  • Experience with Bank Deposit and Check Deposit procedures is necessary.
  • Ability to handle and organize Daily Mail is needed.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system is a must.
  • Familiarity with audit procedures and compliance in the insurance industry, specifically health insurance, is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data management and analysis.
  • The ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling company confidential information.
