Job Summary:
Radiology Technologist opportunity located in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves working in a busy radiology department of a facility with approximately 185 beds. The role requires providing diagnostic imaging services including fluoroscopy, outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room procedures. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification with at least 1 year of experience. Must hold a current state license at the time of submittal.
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT registered with 2 years of experience and OR (Operating Room) experience.
- Shift: Days, with rotating call, evenings, and weekends among full-time staff, including on-call responsibilities during high-volume or additional procedures.
- Responsibilities: Perform heavy OR surgical cases, ER, outpatient, and inpatient x-ray and fluoroscopy procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS.
- Additional Information: This position involves working in a high-volume radiology department utilizing advanced equipment such as GE C-arms and O-Arm systems. The assigned unit follows specific policies and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
