As a Warehouse Seasonal Stocker at Aramark, you play a key role in ensuring that products are received, organized, and distributed efficiently and accurately. You'll support the overall warehouse operations including inventory management, order preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Physical Demands:

The duties associated with this position may consist of:

• Extended time frames of walking and remaining stationary
• Persistent need for performing tasks that include lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Adhering to the dress code and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is crucial

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and tag incoming items; report any discrepancies detected between the received goods and invoiced quantities
• Implement a system that follows the FIFO principle to organize and store perishable goods according to their entry dates
• Perform job responsibilities that may involve operating manual or electric pallet jacks and forklifts with appropriate training as needed
• Organize and distribute inventory to fulfill requests for products, supplies, and tools
• Carry out the loading, unloading, and transportation of merchandise within the warehouse space or to designated customer areas using carts or motorized vehicles
• Undertake scheduled inventory counts as required
• Ensure thorough completion of documentation tasks such as inventory records, temperature monitoring, spoilage tracking, and equipment assessments, whether in physical or electronic formats
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces, which encompass restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and raised platforms
• Respect safety policies, comply with OSHA regulations, refer to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines, and understand emergency procedures
• Follow guidelines by using the necessary Personal Protective Gear (PPG)
• Safeguard the well-being of both client and business belongings
• Interact professionally with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors throughout engagements
• Attend all meetings and handle any other duties as instructed

Qualifications:

• The age requirement is that individuals must be over 18 years old
• Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience working in a warehouse setting for at least two years is desired
• Proficiency in fundamental reading, writing, and arithmetic is important
• Basic computer literacy
• Demonstrates adeptness in expressing ideas through written and spoken forms
• Proficiency in using machinery with deft hand coordination
• Potential to hoist up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 35 pounds in weight
• In certain locations, the possession of a valid driver's license may be a prerequisite, necessitating a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
