Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 5 years of experience for a hospital OR position in California, with experience in specialty surgical services highly preferred.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with a variety of surgical specialty cases
• Specialty experience in vascular, transplant, ophthalmology, spine, robotic, and cardiac procedures is ideal
• 4x10-hour shifts with variable start times ranging from 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM
• Day and evening shift coverage available (Day: 6:45–17:15; Evening: 13:00–23:30)
• Weekend rotation included in the schedule
• On-call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of surgical technology experience
• NBSTSA CST certification required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Active California license required if applicable
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties in accordance with department and hospital standards
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Previous employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
