Providing remote patient care support, the full-time South Carolina Certified Medical Assistant will assist in the operation of telehealth clinical services, collaborating with various staff to enhance virtual care efficiency and resource coordination. Key responsibilities Support the local operation of contracted telehealth services between patients and providers Collaborate with administrative, technical, and clinical staff to promote coordinated resource use across multiple specialties Develop relationships between institutions to advance and sustain effective telehealth programs Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with six months of CMA/RMA experience Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent from recognized organizations Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Understanding of telehealth program factors including legal, credentialing, and policy issues
