Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with pet parents both in-store and online, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
• Prepare online orders for in-store pickup, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Care for store-owned pets, including feeding, watering, and maintaining clean habitats.
• Uphold high standards of store cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist with pricing, merchandising, and product display adjustments.
• Promote merchandise, services, and live pets effectively to customers.
• Administer medications to store-owned pets as directed by a veterinarian.
• Organize community events like adoption weekends and charity promotions.
• Ensure safety and well-being for all associates, pets, and customers.
• Take immediate action to address any sick or injured pets in the store.
• Support various roles and tasks throughout the store as needed.
• Participate in a culture of belonging and recognition.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility in schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and use hands for various tasks.
• Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, with occasional team lifting over 100 pounds.
• Exposure to live animals and varying environmental conditions, including noise and pet hair.
