The Spa Concierge will be responsive for the day-to-day spa salon operations while ensuring all services are being delivered consistently to community standards. Supports implementation of marketing strategies, training, scheduling of spa services providers, unique events, monitoring facility maintenance, monitoring inventory, suggests monthly operational supply retail orders, and facilitates resident payment processing.

This position is part-time; weekend holiday required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Effectively completes opening and closing checklists and reports any operational needs to management.

Actively promotes and sells spa, salon, and wellness services; maximizes all revenue opportunities.

Optimally makes spa and salon reservations to maximize revenues.

Assists spa management in the training and supervision of all spa staff.

Assists spa management in scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.

Submits daily revenue details and commission reports in accordance with community policies and procedures to spa management.

Provides excellent customer service and helps monitor resident guest feedback. Follows-up on requests and comments.

In the absence of the Spa and Fitness Manager assists in conducting new resident orientations and prospective resident tours including an introduction to the spa salon, facilities, services, programs, policies, and procedures.

Monitors inventory of operational supplies. Assists in stocking operational supplies and amenities.

Restocks and merchandises spa retail.

Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy; reports any unusual resident interactions to management.

Assists in preparing newsletters and flyers for display on community boards, door/ mail drops, intranet, community TV channel, and monthly contribution to communities programming calendar.

Promotes wellness retail programs, maintain annual average retail goal developed in annual goal setting process with manager.

Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.

Ensures resident and guests’ satisfaction and engagement by answering questions and concerns.

Regularly attends and participates in spa staff training and department meetings.

Assist in other areas and duties as requested by spa management

Supports elements of employee wellness opportunities as requested.

Complies with Mather Code of Conduct, Policies, Compliance Program, and all applicable laws and regulations in performance of one’s job duties; reports all known and suspected violations to his/her supervisor or manager, Mather Compliance officer, a Human Resources representative, or the confidential employee helpline.

Demonstrates understanding and commitment to the company Mission, Core Values, and EMI philosophy.

Uses discretion in handling confidential information, incorporating all Federal, State and local privacy and confidentiality requirements. Ensures Mather consent protocols are followed across continuum for resident content.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to use or learn a variety of tech-based services and platforms, i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, resident facing portals, and spa specific appointment/ booking software.

Preferred:

Familiarity or prior spa or salon experience highly desirable.

The hourly base wage range provided is a good faith estimate of what Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, certifications, years of experience, geographic location, and current market conditions. Hourly Pay Range

$20.50 $23 USD
