CNC Programmers / CNC Operators / Manual Machinists

We are hiring skilled machinists and programmers for a full-service industrial machine shop specializing in precision machining, fabrication, and rotating equipment repair across petrochemical, oil & gas, and heavy industrial sectors.

This shop handles large, complex, one-off components using advanced equipment including multi-axis CNC machines, Mazak Integrex systems, and manual machining equipment.

Positions AvailableCNC Programmer (GibbsCAM Required)

  • Program CNC mills and lathes using GibbsCAM
  • Develop toolpaths for multi-axis machining (3-axis / 5-axis preferred)
  • Optimize speeds, feeds, and cycle times
  • Interpret complex blueprints and CAD models
  • Work closely with machinists on setups and process improvements

CNC Operator

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
  • Load tooling, offsets, and fixtures
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision tools

Manual Machinist

  • Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Machine parts from prints or reverse-engineered samples
  • Repair industrial components (shafts, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)
  • Maintain tight tolerances on custom work

Equipment & Work Environment

  • Multi-axis CNC machines (Mazak, HAAS, Integrex-type equipment)
  • Large-part machining (industrial-scale components)
  • Precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Mix of new manufacturing and repair work

Requirements

  • 2+ years of machining experience (more for programmers)
  • GibbsCAM experience required for CNC Programmers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience holding tight tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Work on large, complex, non-repetitive parts
  • Exposure to multiple heavy industries
  • Opportunity to apply advanced programming skills (GibbsCAM) in real-world applications

Compensation & Benefits

  • $25–$45/hour DOE
  • Overtime available
