About the position
Landscapes USA has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Landscape Laborers / Drivers in Orlando, FL. We are seeking a dependable, hard-working individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining and improving landscape properties. This position plays a key role in supporting daily landscape operations and ensuring properties are maintained to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf to enhance outdoor spaces
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding
- Install sod, mulch, and other ground covers
- Assist with landscape enhancements and minor hardscape installations such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
- Remove debris, including leaves, branches, and trash, from job sites
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with applying fertilizers, pesticides, or other treatments as directed
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Support Crew Leaders and team members to ensure daily productivity and quality standards
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in commercial landscape maintenance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test (required)
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques (training provided as needed)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites or designated meeting locations
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper tool usage
Nice-to-haves
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean or acceptable driving record (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor (preferred)
