Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Limited Radiology Required

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with Limited Radiology certification to join our Care Team! Full-Time shifts, 36-40 hours a week, rotating weekends, and holidays. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Limited Radiology at Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care, you will directly and positively impact the health and well-being of our patients.

Core activities of the role

• Assess and Room Patients
• Position patients
• Update and Maintain Patient Records
• Check and Monitor Vitals
• Obtain and Process Lab Samples
• Dispense Medications
• Administer Medications Per Provider Orders
• Patient Follow Up
• Placement of IV
• Inventory Tracking
• Basic Office Duties
• Check-in Patients
• Assist in Medical Procedures Under Direction of the Provider
• Act within the confines of licensure for all duties listed in this posting or elsewhere
• Other duties as assigned

You will need

Licenses: Valid and Current Certified Medical Assistant - Limited Radiology Certificate

Experience: Related experience preferred

Certificate: Maintain current BLS certification required.

Limited Rad required.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 25+ pounds at rare times with or without assistance

Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 10 – 25 pounds semi-often

Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 0 – 10 pounds frequently

Environmental Conditions Moderate levels of sound, consistent amount of moving around between rooms required, in a temperature-controlled environment, and consistently working with the general public.
