Assess patients of varying ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients, utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.
Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to form integrated care strategies.
Provide education and guidance to patients and families to support continued progress beyond each session.
Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, maintaining continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.
Stay updated on advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer interactions.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for individuals of all ages, with a solid foundation in developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional interpersonal skills when communicating with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
A capability to tailor therapy methods to address diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
