Position Summary

We are seeking a Retail Branch Manager to lead one of our HVAC locations. This role carries full responsibility for branch performance, including sales growth, gross margin, inventory control, and team leadership.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Business

  • Own full branch performance
  • Drive monthly and annual sales targets
  • Monitor KPIs: sales, inventory turnover

Sales & Customer Growth

  • Lead counter sales operations
  • Grow existing accounts and develop new business
  • Ensure disciplined pricing and margin protection
  • Promote upselling of parts and accessories

Inventory & Operations

  • Maintain optimal stock levels (min/max strategy)
  • Reduce stockouts and excess inventory
  • Oversee order processing, warehouse coordination, and logistics
  • Ensure accurate inventory counts and cycle counts

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and develop counter sales, warehouse, and drivers
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture

Customer Experience

  • Deliver fast, accurate, and professional service
  • Resolve escalations and maintain strong contractor relationships

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in HVAC distribution, wholesale
  • 3+ years in a management or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and parts

Skills & Competencies

  • Inventory control and operational discipline
  • Leadership and team development
  • Customer relationship management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Technical Tools

Experience with ERP systems such as:

  • Sage 300

Some Excel skills are highly preferred.
