Are you an Occupational Therapist who loves working with children in a play-based, supportive environment? Whether you're an experienced pediatric therapist or looking to expand into pediatrics, we'd love to welcome you to our growing network of independent contractors serving families throughout the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Lead The Way Therapy provides pediatric occupational therapy services through both Early Intervention and private clinic-based therapy. We are passionate about helping children reach their full potential while supporting families through individualized, relationship-based care.

As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your schedule while receiving administrative support so you can focus on providing exceptional therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to assess developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Develop individualized, family-centered treatment plans and goals.
• Provide engaging, play-based occupational therapy in homes, daycares, and/or our Glendale Heights clinic.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to support sensory processing, motor development, self-regulation, visual-motor skills, and daily living skills.
• Complete timely documentation in accordance with payer and professional requirements.
• Communicate with families and collaborate with other providers to support each child's progress.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Occupational Therapy license required.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but motivated therapists with a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply.
• Experience or interest in Early Intervention, sensory integration, DIR/Floortime, or developmental therapy is welcomed.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation for community-based services.

Work Locations: Home-based Early Intervention, daycare settings, and/or clinic in Glendale Heights, Illinois.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
