Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will lead plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Your expertise will help deliver reliable, efficient plumbing solutions across a variety of commercial and residential construction sites. Duties
- Lead and oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs
- Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects, including material takeoffs and labor calculations
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as pipe installation, remodeling work, and site cleanup
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate work seamlessly on-site
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards; document inspections and progress reports regularly
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to plumbing systems; perform field service repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing multiple tasks on busy construction sites
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued Master Plumber license with relevant licensing credentials
- Extensive experience in construction plumbing within commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other field service tools
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with remodeling projects, maintenance work, assembly tasks, carpentry skills, and handyman experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities
