Inpatient Phlebotomist - Full Time - First Shift
Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Shift Time: 2:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Week 1: Saturday and Sunday + 2 weekdays (varies)
Week 2: 4 weekdays (varies)
Days off and shift patterns may vary based on operational needs
Training Schedule
Week 1: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Weeks 2 - 4: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
After training: transition to regular shift (2:30 AM - 12:00 PM)

Inpatient Phlebotomist
Responsible for collection and transportation of patient specimens for clinical laboratory testing adhering to department identification policies. Perform, evaluate, and report patient specimens using point-of-care instrumentation. Demonstrate behavioral skills that contribute to a productive work environment, represent the lab in a professional manner, and provide excellent customer service. May process and distribute patient specimen for clinical laboratory testing.
Computer experience required.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Direct patient care experience or completion of a phlebotomy course or phlebotomy experience preferred.
Phlebotomy certification PBT (ASCP) preferred.
