Overseeing accounting operations for various assigned companies, the full-time remote Lead Accountant will manage general ledger entries, month-end close processes, and financial statement reviews while collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Key responsibilities
Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes for assigned companies
Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and financial operations and implement necessary changes
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required; CPA or MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting required
1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Public accounting/auditing experience is a plus
Knowledge of Workday GL/ERP systems is a plus
