What You’ll Do

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for:

• Performing MIG welding on steel components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Fitting, aligning, and preparing parts and materials for welding and assembly.
• Operating shop equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools with safety and precision.
• Inspecting welds for quality, strength, and adherence to specifications.
• Monitoring welding processes to prevent defects and maintain consistency.
• Assisting with material handling using overhead cranes or forklifts.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and standards.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience, particularly on steel.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
• Experience working with large, heavy metal components.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
