Position: Guest Educator (Substitute Teacher) 2022-2023 School Year

What Types of Roles are Available?

This position has both long‑term and short‑term/daily roles available. Roles are 8 hours long. Applicants interested in long‑term roles will need to be available to work 5 days a week.

Qualifications Long‑Term Roles

• An associate's degree or at least 60 college credits
• 2+ years of teaching experience in a traditional classroom setting is preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Short‑Term/Daily Roles

• High school diploma/GED and at least 30 college credits
• 2+ years of teaching experience in a traditional classroom setting is preferred (Resumes that display experience working with youth may be considered)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualities we are Looking for in a Guest Educator

• Display flexibility and adaptability in a school setting – jumping in to help in classrooms, with students and staff, front office, etc.
• Maintain strong classroom management to keep students learning and engaged
• Build relationships with students
• Show up with a positive and professional attitude
• Effectively deliver lesson plans to drive student learning with strong pacing and urgency, differentiation, and high levels of student engagement

Compensation

Pay is competitive at $25 per hour. Full‑time roles are salaried at a monthly rate and paid bi‑weekly.
