Early Intervention Social Workers (IDEA Part C)

Location: Montgomery County, Maryland

Pay Rate: $30.00-50.00per hour

V-Tech Solutions is seeking qualified and compassionate Social Workers to join our Early Intervention team. We provide family-centered services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families, helping children reach their developmental goals while supporting caregivers through guidance, resources, and collaboration.This is an excellent opportunity for Social Workers who enjoy working directly with families, providing meaningful support, and being part of a collaborative team.

Job Responsibilities

Provide Early Intervention social work services based on Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals.

Provide family support, counseling, advocacy, and resource coordination.

Complete family assessments to identify strengths, needs, and available supports.

Participate in IFSP meetings, evaluations, reviews, and transition planning.

Collaborate with service coordinators, therapists, developmental specialists, and early intervention providers.

Support caregivers in addressing barriers and promoting their child’s development.

Complete accurate and timely documentation according to program and agency requirements.

Required Qualifications

Current Maryland LCSW-C or LGSW license required

Experience working with children and families preferred

Early Intervention/IDEA Part C experience is a plus

Reliable transportation required

Strong family engagement and relationship-building skills

Knowledge of infant and toddler development

Ability to conduct clinical assessments and family evaluations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Experience with care coordination and community resource navigation

Commitment to family-centered, culturally responsive practice

Strong problem-solving and advocacy skills
