A premier American manufacturer is actively hiring Fabricators for its 3rd Shift production team. These are direct hire opportunities offering excellent pay, shift premium, long-term stability, and advancement opportunities.

This is one of the highest-priority hiring needs in the facility. Candidates with machine operation, fabrication, manufacturing, metalworking, brake press, laser, stamping, or CNC experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

The Fabrication Machine Operator supports manufacturing operations by producing high-quality metal components used in premium products. This role involves operating a variety of fabrication equipment, inspecting finished parts, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Successful candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fabrication equipment including:
  • CNC Panel Benders
  • Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses
  • Spot Welders
  • Laser Equipment
  • Brake Presses
  • Die Stamping Equipment
  • Load and unload materials and parts accurately
  • Select and modify machine programs as required
  • Perform quality inspections using measuring devices and visual inspection techniques
  • Verify dimensions and specifications using blueprints and work instructions
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain organized and safe workstations
  • Assist with training and development of team members
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and work instruction updates
  • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • Fabrication experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Familiarity with measuring devices and hand tools
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good math and numerical abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven success in a fast-paced production setting
  • Excellent attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 40 pounds regularly
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Perform reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, and pulling
  • Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Perform detailed visual inspections of finished parts
