Together, we have The Energy to Change the World. The Welder C-Class position will perform all welding operations as applied to shielded metal arc, submerged arc, plasma arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, and oxygen/acetylene. Performs brazing, soldering and torch cutting operations. Our Welder-C position is a full-time onsite position at our Chamblee, GA facility. New hires will work our 1st shift work schedule of Monday-Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM ET during training. New hires will move to our 2nd shift work schedule of Monday-Friday 4:10PM - 1:00AM ET after training is complete. Overtime is available but not mandatory. Opportunities to switch shifts is based on business need and customer demand.
Daily tasks for this position upkeep and maintenance of machining equipment and material handling equipment.
Assist as needed with steam turbine repairs, and services delivered by the shop such as welding, machining with CNC mills, lathes, horizontal boring machines etc. as well as weld repairs and hand working parts.
Assist as needed with Generator field repair and re-furbishing.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
At least 2 years of experience in welding, machining (conventional or CNC) or technical assembly.
The pay for this position is $27.68 per hour.
