## Overview

## Position details

• Position Type: Part Time
• Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour
• Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

This access control role combines professionalism, customer service, and clear communication with a team-first approach. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

## A bit about the work

You will provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Typical activities include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials, and documenting visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in support of security-related operations.

You will respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate relevant information to site contacts and first responders as needed. Regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter are part of the role. You will help deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow at gates and dock areas, and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.

## Minimum requirements and conditions

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
