Low Voltage Installer-06 Journey Electrician

We are seeking full time Washington 06 journey licensed low voltage journey level technician with high end residential experience (such as equipment racks/cabling, distributed audio/video, security, lighting control, and control/integration systems). Ideal candidate will have experience with Lutron window covering(s) installation and be open to travel to San Juan Islands, Leavenworth, and Cle Elum areas (1-2 weeks/month - travel costs are covered by company and travel time outside home territory is paid at company travel rate, plus per diem). Certification in smart/automated, Control4, RTI, Lutron RA3 & Homeworks a plus. Candidates who have strong communication, problem solving, customer service, attention to detail, professionalism, and strong work ethics will be a great fit on the Qnorthwest team.

Requirements for Low Voltage Electrician:

Current Washington State 01, 02, or 06 License

Valid Washington State driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to pass security and drug screening

Computer proficiency, including navigating Microsoft Windows OS, Word, Excel, and E-Mail clients

Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals, work instructions, manufacturer specifications and instructions as is common for a Low Voltage Electrician.

The ability to work indoors and outdoors, standing, bending and reaching in a variety of environments

Working either in crawl spaces, attics, or at heights.

Must be able to frequently lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

Must be able to regularly climb and carry ladders including up to 24' or higher at times

Willingness to learn, adapt and grow as a member of our team

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus to produce or review reports

Requires excellent communication skills, including the ability to read and professionally respond to documents in hard copy and electronic form.

Thoroughness and attention to detail

Proven ability to work professionally with vendors and clients

Ability to work well with others in a team setting

Steel toe boots & hand tools required to start

Work nights/weekends (very occasional), work and stay overnight out of town (occasionally)

Must be able to pass drug screenings

Most shifts are typical construction shifts Monday through Friday

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
