Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as waste removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
• Support housekeeping management with inventory control and reporting maintenance or supply needs

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings preferred
• Hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing required
• Experience with laundry operations and sanitation protocols is beneficial
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Hands-on experience in residential cleaning or hospitality environments will be considered an asset

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
